From immensity, from nothing, from the desert or the empty, a character irrupts. She walks and sees. Warm light and energy construct her. The sound of a sandstorm. She moves into the story of 5 lives, 5 chairs. Coexisting amongst imagery, throughout the chairs and the people set around her, she evolves into multiple characters.
Desierto de sillas_ is the confrontation between individuals and their own chaos, their personal demons, their ancestors, and their identities. To look into the eyes of the other as the mirror from their own desert.
The work is an invitation for the audience to imagine and react with their senses. Interaction and proximity with the public is a source of inspiration for the dramaturgical development of the piece.
